Flavie has strong interests in innovation, the marine industry and green technology. With a background as a project lead engineer in subsea structure design and shipbuilding management she is an experienced marine engineer and leader.
Flavie manages our project with energy, enthusiasm and conviction. Originally from France, she has lived in Stavanger since 2008 and speaks Norwegian.
Machine Learning Advisor
Furkan Kıraç is currently an Assist. Prof. of Computer Science in Ozyegin University, Turkey. He has a Masters Degree in "Systems and Control Engineering" and Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Bogazici University, Turkey. Throughout his graduate studies, he founded two R&D firms working in the field of Computer Vision and Machine Learning. In 2003 he programmed the first license plate recognition software in Turkey, Platasis. This program currently runs throughout Turkey at numerous different locations. He has won sizable national grants, and currently is the lead of a major project in which visual analytics algorithms will run real-time on numerous live cameras.
Bernt W. Asbjørnsen
Bernt has an extensive experience from the seafood industry in Norway and abroad. With a master's degree in Business Administration (MBA) and background in IT, he has industry insights and visions in a business worthy way. With his expertise he will help Fishency grow.
Barış has a Masters Degree in “Mechatronics Engineering”. He is currently a PhD student in Computer Science Department at Özyeğin University, Turkey. Barış has participated in various government funded projects such as Multi-Sensor Lane Departure Warning Systems and pedestrian tracking in outdoor spaces for the investigation of occupancy patterns. As part of his PhD studies, he works in the field of deep learning and computer vision.
